Words cannot express what a crazy, exhilarating, and exhausting couple of weeks it’s been. From the foggy hills of the Sunset in SF to a pristine “clinic” in Greenbrae and the sun soaked suburbs in Mountain View and Marin County, we shot in almost every corner of the Bay.
Following his graduation from Florida State University Film School, James’ career began with an Independent Spirit Award nomination for his cinematography on writer/director Barry Jenkins’ debut Medicine for Melancholy in 2008. He soon followed as director of photography on David Mitchell’s The Myth of the American Sleepover, which world-premiered at the 2010 Cannes International Film Festival.
Most recently, James has won acclaim for his work on Moonlight, which has garnered over a dozen awards, including an Academy Award nomination.
